Why do I need a bed frame?

A bed frame will support the structure for the mattress and by keeping it off the floor, it will be protected from moist, dust and general floor gunk. Bed frames also need to be able to physically support the weight of a mattress for a weak bed frame could allow the mattress to sag or result in instabilities.
