Sterra 8™ is designed with internal cleaning and self-maintenance capabilities, including UV sterilisation. The only maintenance you’d have to do is filter replacement every 6 months.
Our filters’ lifespan runs for 6 months – or after 1,500 liters of usage. To track your filter’s lifespan, long-press both the water dispense button and user setting button for three seconds. You will be able to determine your filter lifespan in liters.
Yes, but when a filter is used longer than its intended lifespan, this can reduce and compromise water quality. The filter replacement cycle may vary depending on the raw water quality, water pressure, and usage.
Here’s how you can change your filter easily:
Step 1 – Turn off the water supply valve. Step 2 – Press the water dispense button and unplug the power cord. Step 3 – Open the filter cover and remove the filter. Step 4 – Insert the new filter and close the cover securely. Step 5 – Turn the water supply back on and plug in the power cord. Step 6 – Press and hold the water dispense button for five seconds to complete the process.
Every purchase of the Sterra 8™ comes with a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty. You can extend your warranty with Sterra Care when you purchase your water purifier, which gives you a maximum additional warranty of up to 1 year.
Our installation team needs an electrical tapping point, water tapping point and water outlet. An electrical point needs to be within 1.5 meters while the water point and water outlet to be within 5 meters from the machine location.
Our installation team will assess if some drilling will be needed and will advise accordingly during installation day. Sometimes, if the chosen location for the water purifier has no clear access to the water point, drilling will be needed. However, if you prefer not to drill, you can inform our technicians and they will advise you accordingly based on your preference.
Yes, it is advisable to have someone at home during the installation.
