What type of mattress does Sterra have?

We have 4 models of bed mattresses that have different mattress composition and different levels of firmness. We have Sterra Snow, Sterra Cloud, Sterra Wave and Sterra Cove.

What is the Sterra mattress made?

Our bed mattresses are made of high quality and hotel grade materials with the best craftsmanship and aesthetic design. Breathable, antibacterial, anti-mite technology and bouncy eco-friendly with a cooling system that enables pleasant air circulation while keeping you cool, even on warm nights. Great motion isolation support with a zoning spring coil system that ensures optimum pressure relief, good spine health and improves quality of sleep.

What are the different mattress sizes?

We offer standard sized mattresses, but their only difference is height. Sterra Snow is 34 cm, Sterra Cloud is 30 cm, Sterra Wave is 29cm and Sterra Cloud is also 29 cm.

What are the differences between the Sterra mattresses?

The main differences between them are their mattress composition, different levels of firmness and coil spring systems. The top layer in both Sterra Snow, Sterra Wave and Sterra Cove is made of ice fabric which gives off a cool feeling while Sterra Cloud has tencel fabric which is smooth and soft. The mattresses also vary in terms of their spring system, Sterra Snow has a Patented Adaptive Zoned Spring System, Sterra Cloud for having a Smart Coil Spring System (1,440 pocket springs) and Sterra Wave and Sterra Cove with 5 Zone Pocket Spring System.

What is the difference between Euro Top and Pillow Top?

Euro tops are firmer around the edges and have more cushion in the center while pillow tops are more light, soft and fluffy in nature and offer the balances of cushion and firmness throughout the mattress surface. Both are made of foam and fiber but they differ on how they are sewn in the mattress. Euro Top is sewn on flush with the edges of the mattress while Pillow top is sewn onto the top layer.

What is the difference between Ice fabric and Tencel fabric?

Both provide a cooling effect, allowing moisture to evaporate and dissipate heat away from the bed mattress. However, they differ on how they are made. Ice Fabric is made of silk while Tencel fabric was extracted from wood pulp.

What is the difference between gel memory foam and natural latex?

Gel memory foam and latex mattresses are multi-layered foam beds capable of adjusting to different body types and sleeping positions while keeping a sleeper cool. Both are comparable in support and have hypo-allergenic qualities. Natural latex is bouncier, cooler and has faster response time. It can isolate motion, although not as well as gel memory. Because gel memory foam conforms closely, it absorbs shock upon impact.

What if I’m not at home when the package arrives?

Please ensure that someone will receive the delivery at the pre-agreed time and date, and that the delivery path and premise are free of obstructions, including any existing furniture. If you need to make changes/enquiries regarding the order’s confirmed delivery schedule, please inform us at least 2 days in advance for us to prepare accordingly. Any last minute changes (3 days or less) will incur a rescheduling fee.

Anything to take note of the delivery of my order?

Please ensure the delivery path and premise are free of obstructions, including any existing furniture. This is to ensure that the delivery will be smooth for our team. Your order will be delivered to your home and placed in the room of your choice. We will install/assemble the item (if applicable), and remove all packaging materials. Delivery will only proceed if the delivery team deems it suitable to go ahead in a non-hazardous manner. If the lifting process is deemed hazardous, (i.e. items prone to damage on narrow stairway, obstruction of passageway), and deemed unfeasible based on our assessment; we reserve the right to cancel the delivery and refund your order.

Will the driver collect my old mattress after delivering the new one?

Yes, the driver will collect and dispose of the old mattress with a $50 disposal charge applied. Customers must request this on our website listing for disposal requests.

How to operate the machine?

Once the air purifier is plugged into the power source and you do not see the “eyeball”, press the Power ON/OFF button on the white panel.

How do I know if the filter needs replacing?

The colour ring will keep flashing red.

What does the colours of the light ring mean?

The colours of the light ring indicate the air quality. Blue –good air quality, Yellow –average air quality, Red –poor air quality

What is the machine external casing made of?

The machine’s external casing is ABS. ABS is a material that is very sturdy and hard, thus having strong resistance to physical impacts.

What can the air purifier remove?

Able to remove 99.97% of airborne particles, up to as small as 0.3 microns; Capable of removing allergens, smoke, dust, PM2.5, viruses, pet fur, foul odour and bacteria.

What is the benefit of the UV/Ion function?

UV - Kills/inactivates airborne bacteria, mould, viruses and pathogens by destroying their DNA/RNA using UV-C; Ion - The machine will release healthy ions to bind with airborne viruses, dust particles, free radicals and pollen for easy cleanup.

How does the UV function work?

The UV is housed within the air purifier. Hence, the unpurified air will pass through the UV before release as purified air.

How do you adjust the wind speed?

There are 2 ways which you can adjust the wind speed. 1st is via the app, of which app installation instructions are provided in the manual. 2nd is by manually adjusting the “eyeball”. The greater the angle of adjustment, the lower the wind speed.

I can’t decide between the UV or Ion version. Which should I choose?

If you are looking for a machine to remove unpleasant odours more effectively, you may choose the Ion version. On the other hand, if you are looking to remove bacteria and viruses more effectively, you may consider the UV version. That being said, both machines are still capable of removing bacteria, viruses and unpleasant odours.

If I never open the original filter packaging, how long can the filter last?

3 years from the date of manufacture

If the filter is already placed into the machine, how long can the filter last?

2,200 hours. Assuming the air purifier is switched on for 6-8 hours, the filter is expected to last for 9-12 months. However, filter replacement duration also depends on the environment where the air purifier is placed at. Hence, please check the filter periodically to ensure the air purifier is working at its best condition.

Is the filter same size as Sterra Breeze?

No. The Sterra Moon filter is 225 x 225 x 170mm while the Sterra Breeze filter is 215 x 215 x 256mm.
